Cookies (Svenka)

Enligt lagen om elektronisk kommunikation, som trädde i kraft den 25 juli 2003, ska alla som besöker en webbplats med cookies få information om:

• att webbplatsen innehåller kakor,
• vad dessa kakor används till och
• hur kakor kan undvikas.

En kaka (cookie) är en liten textfil som webbplatsen du besöker begär att spara på din dator. Kakor används på många webbplatser för att ge en besökare tillgång till olika funktioner. Informationen i kakan är möjlig att använda för att följa en användares surfande.

Det finns två typer av kakor. Den ena typen sparar en fil under en längre tid på din dator. Den används till exempel vid funktioner som talar om vad som är nytt sedan användaren senast besökte den aktuella webbplatsen. Den andra typen av kakor kallas sessionskakor. Under tiden du är inne och surfar på en sida, lagras den här kakan temporärt i din dators minne exempelvis för att hålla reda på vilket språk du har valt. Sessionskakor lagras inte under en längre tid på din dator, utan försvinner när du stänger din webbläsare.

Vill du inte acceptera kakor kan din webbläsare ställas in så att du automatiskt nekar till lagring av kakor eller informeras varje gång en webbplats begär att få lagra en kaka. Genom webbläsaren kan också tidigare lagrade kakor raderas. Se webbläsarens hjälpsidor för mer information.

According to the Electronic Communications Act, which entered into force on 25 July 2003, everybody who visits a website with cookies should be informed about:

• the website containing cookies,
• what these cookies are used for, and
• how cookies can be avoided.

A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit saves on your computer. Cookies are used on many websites to give visitors access to different functions.  The information in the cookie can be used to follow a user's surfing on our website.

There are two types of cookies. The first type saves a file permanently on your computer, and it is used, for example, to measure how visitors move through the website, offering more web-based functionality and options for the customer.  Our site does not use this first type of cookies.

The second type of cookies are called ‘session cookies’. While you are surfing a site, this cookie is stored temporarily in your computer's memory, which for example, helps to keep track of which language you have chosen, or to distinguish you from other visitors on our site at that time.  Session cookies are temporary files, and disappear once you shut down your web browser.  These cookies are used by our website and are extremely common to many websites.  The files are tiny, temporary and pose no threat to containing viruses or other forms of malicious code.
